Walking Talking Adult

Today I'm 30 years old. I was expecting retroactively; 20 more wrinkles and my boobs to hit the floor. I woke up feeling more beautiful than I can remember in a long time. That was better.
I have plans to spend it quietly with my family (my sister already had a big bash for me in August, it was awesome) and paint a picture. Something that will be my own on my birthday. I'm looking forward to today.

C.S. Lewis said it perfectly; Thirty was so strange for me. I've really had to come to terms with the fact that I am now a walking and talking adult.

Don't get me wrong, I'm still a child in my heart, I would way rather watch Labyrinth or Goonies over any new blockbuster movie. I'm just saying I think I'll like 30.
